Job Description

Job Title: Guidewire Analyst Location: London, UKDuration: PermanentYour Profile:

  • Min 2+ years of recent experience in GW is Mandatory
  • Billing Center configuration OR Integration is required
  • P&C Integrator or configuration is required
  • GW Certification good to have
    • Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assistteaminestimations,Proofofconcepts,definition,designsofrobustandefficient configurationsolutions.
  • Prepare/EnhanceDetailedDesignDocumentation(FieldMapping,DataModeldefinitions, Rules Definition etc) as needed to support Configurationdevelopment.
  • Assist Onsite/Offshore teams - and in certain cases be responsible - in solutioning of complex configuration by developing and demonstrating solutions using Proof ofConcepts
  • Configure/Build/DevelopPolicyCenterConfigurationinaccordancetothedesign documentation
  • Configure/Build/Develop GW Configuration/Integration components (Using GOSU, Rules Engine, Data Model, PCF, Wizards, Workflow, Activity and Product Model developmentetc.)
  • Identifyanddevelopreusableframework,configurationcomponentstobeusedasison multipleprojects
  • Unit and Functional Test developed Configuration Solutions using GUnit, Mockito-
    • Automated and Manual.
  • PrepareBuildandImplementationplansforconfigurationworkstreamandreport configuration work stream status
  • Leadandmanageteamsof2-4developersandberesponsibleforteamvelocityindelivering configuration user stories ontime
  • Work with external consultants &developers
  • Train and build a team of experiencedprofessionals
  • Willing to travel in UK/Europe in support of projectimplementations/opportunities.
    • Skills Required
  • 6-12 Years of Guidewire experiencein
    • o PolicyCenterconfigurationo BillingCenterconfigurationo ClaimCenter configurationo PolicyCenterintegrationo BillingCenterintegrationo ClaimCenter Integration
  • good exposure to SDLC and Java EEexperience.
  • ExperiencewithfullSDLCandappreciationfor Iterative(Agile)developmentlifecycleasused in Guidewireimplementations
  • Expertise in configuring and developing several areasof PolicyCenter/BillingCenter/ClaimCenter/Integration
  • Robust understanding of Guidewire DataModel
  • ExperienceinGWConfiguration/IntegrationDevelopment(GOSU,RulesEngine,DataModel, PCF, Workflow, Product Modeldevelopment)
  • Experience with XML, GUnit, Jenkins, GIT/Subversion/TFS, Code Coverage and Code Scan Plugin/Tools
  • Experience with Application Servers like WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss and/orTomcat
  • Experience with Database Servers like SQL Server, Oracle, and/orDB2
  • Insurance Industry and DomainKnowledge
  • Leadership - Assertive, Sharp with ability to inspire, bring out the best in individuals and develop a strong configuration team to deliver qualityconfigurations
  • Excellent communication skills, Onsite - Offshoreco-ordination
  • Mentorship of TeamMembers
