Job Description

The Group Reporting Manager will be responsible for all statutory reporting requirements within the business and international reporting.Duties include:

  • Oversight of the year-end statutory financial reporting
  • Preparation and review of Group consolidations at various levels for statutory reporting purposes
  • Preparation of IFRS cashflow statement
  • Guidance on accounting for disposals, acquisitions and other commercial matters
  • Planning and communicating the year-end reporting cycle ensuring reporting
  • Management of the year-end audit process, including coordination with the audit team, managing deliverables and responding to queries
  • Management of external advisor relationships in connection with financial reporting such as external valuers
  • Ownership of all technical accounting matters and queries
  • Responsibility for ensuring accurate accounting for investments in foreign subsidiaries
  • Assist the management accounts team with review and analysis at month-end
  • Management of the groups financial reporting requirements to investors on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Establish and document all financial reporting policies, procedures and controls
  • Develop processes to enable consistent, timely Group reporting
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the Group Reporting function
    • The ideal candidate will be:
  • ACA qualified with 2-4 years PQE
  • Big 4 trained with a period of time in a commercial environment
  • Strong technical accouting experience around IFRS reporting standards
  • Able to meet tight deadlines in a timely manner
  • Management of other staff indirectly to support with training and development of part qualified staff
