A Lloyd’s insurer is looking at hiring a Head of Tax to join their high performing tax team. This is an extremely rare and exciting opportunity, which provides a lot of autonomy to take charge and develop them even further. This role includes a variety of tax responsibilities, including international, corporate and indirect tax queries in an all-encompassing role.Key responsibilities:- Ownership of corporate tax compliance, reviewing outsourced computations and ensuring time submission- Ownership of VAT compliance, ensuring outsourced returns are summited- Leadership with tax planning, tax risk and providing tax strategy for the group.The candidate will be a qualified accountant, ideally from a Big 4 background with in-house experience.
