Job Description

Group Financial Accountant | 6-9 Months | Central London | Luxury Consumer | £350 - £450/dayAltum Consulting are supporting a global luxury consumer brand to recruit a Group Financial Accountant to support a year-end, year-end audit and global group financial reporting.Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain group ledgers in compliance with group and local statutory accounting requirements.
  • Own the consolidation of 50+ global entities, demonstrating prior multi-entity consolidation experience across multi-currency in a large PLC, PE/VC backed business.
  • Provide significant support across the year end reporting and external audit
  • Drive process improvement across month-end processes and internal controls to accommodate the companys rapid growth.
  • Deliver month-end tasks, collaborate with various teams to ensure ledger accuracy and meet group deadlines, and prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support audits, prepare local statutory accounts, promote best practices and report any issues or opportunities.
You will have:
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) Accountant with audit experience
  • Happy to work on a flexible working basis, both in office and at home
  • Have finance experience within Luxury Retail, Fashion or Travel
  • Available for ASAP start
