For more information about the firm please visit our website at www.Nuveen.comOverview of the RoleOur London office is currently recruiting a transfer pricing manager to provide a range of services to our European and Asia Pacific investment products. These services will include the design, implementation and ongoing oversight of TP policies, the productionof TP documentation and other compliance requirements and management of tax authorities enquiries. Reporting directly to the Head of Tax the preferred candidate will have prior experience in the private capital investment industry. Given the geographicalspread of investment locations, differing fund structures and the number of external advisers involved in different transactions the role is by its nature different every day, and we want someone who is actively looking for this challenge. An agile approachto working with different projects and people is therefore essential.Key responsibilities will include:

• Design and implementation of transfer pricing policies which are aligned to both industry standards and TIAA/Nuveens risk averse nature;
• Liaise with different Nuveen finance teams and external advisers to structure, prepare and review the required documentation in a time and cost efficient manner;
• Provide modelling and other ad-hoc advice to finance teams, fund managers and other stakeholders on proposed acquisitions;
• Work directly with the legal teams to ensure alignment between TP policies and underpinning legal agreements;
• Support in due diligence of asset acquisitions and disposals.

Technical Skills & Qualifications Required

• Full or partial ACA/ICAS qualification (preferred);
• Previous experience in European real estate / private equity transfer pricing, preferably both in a professional services and in-house environment;
• An excellent awareness of the asset classes that our funds invest in and the TP policies most appropriate for each of them;
• Awareness of European real estate trends;
• Awareness of tax authority regulations and behaviour in the different jurisdictions that the funds invest in;
• Understanding of the interaction between transfer pricing policies and withholding tax, corporate tax and VAT;
• Familiarity with Thomson Reuters Eikon, Moodys REITs Scorecard model, Moodys Risk Calc and other loan pricing tools.
