Job Description

Group Finance Manager | £70,000-£80,000 plus car allowance + benefits | Remote | 12-month Fixed Term Contract | JRROC1416A Group Finance Manager is required to work for a FTSE 250 commercial business based in Central London, on a 12-month fixed term contract. The role has the option of working remotely or in the London head office. This is an opportunity to join a well-renownedbusiness that has grown year on year.Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be supporting the group reporting team with the annual and quarterly reporting under IFRS. The role will involve significant project work including implementing new group-wide policies. Responsibilitiesinclude:

  • Supporting with the production of the annual consolidated statutory group financial statements under IFRS
  • Project-related work including continuous improvement and enhancement of group-wide policies including cashflow reporting
  • Undertake half-year and annual reviews
  • Management and control of year-end and interim external audit
  • Support with the management and development of the Group Reporting team including recruitment, appraisals, and training
  • Provide effective technical accounting guidance and support to wider finance teams
Skill set required:To be considered you must be an ACA/CA Qualified Accountant at Manager level who has qualified from a Top 10 Practice. Previous experience working or auditing a listed business in a group accounting capacity is essential. You must have be technically strongand have excellent interpersonal skills to be able to liaise with the wider finance team and senior management. Strong IFRS knowledge is also key. The role involves extensive stakeholder management, you must have the confidence to challenge and advise seniormanagement.In return for your hardwork, you may be offered the opportunity to go permanent in this successful group.
