Job Description

Group Finance AnalystGlobal Professional Services Group, Central London£55,000 - 62,000 + Bonus & benefitsThe Company hiring a Group Finance AnalystA Group Finance Analyst is sought by this truly leading global £multi-billion turnover professional services group. Operating within the UK, Europe, US and AsiaPac markets, they have developed an enviable reputation for outstanding client service and deliveringinnovative specialist products and unique solutions. Continued growth has resulted in the need for a bright graduate qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA ideally from a Big 4 or Top 10 firm, to assume a high-profile financial reporting role as a Group Finance Analyst.Your remit is to support the ExCom providing analysis and commentary on the groups results.Key Responsibilities of the Group Finance Analyst

  • Responsibility for the statutory accounts, involving consolidation of group accounts, preparation of statutory disclosures and liaison with external auditors
  • Production of year-end statutory accounts for other statutory entities, including liaison with auditors and Company Secretariat to ensure timely sign-off and filing of accounts
  • Support the month-end, year-end and budgeting processes for different international regions ensuring communication and guidance is fed through to Finance Managers on a timely basis to assist them in understanding requirements and meeting timetables
  • Ensuring integrity and accuracy of monthly consolidated management financials and year end results
  • Project work such as expenditure and trend analysis to support Group Reporting, ExCom, the CFO and Strategy function
Skills & Attributes of the Group Finance Analyst
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA ideally from a Big 4 or Top 10 firm
  • Graduate from a Russell Group university with 2:1 or 1st class degree
  • Experience of producing statutory accounts under IFRS
  • Ability to understand business and communicate with both finance and non-finance personnel and senior management
  • Exposure within an international Plc or global professional services firm is highly advantageous
  • The role demands a confident, self-motivated approach, commercial acumen and the gravitas to influence and advise key stakeholders
