Regulatory Group Compliance (London or Dublin) Meraki Talent has been engaged to recruit for a Regulatory Group Compliance officer with a strong background within insurance or re-insurance. The role can be based in London or Dublin but will be home based until we can safely travel back into the office. Role Purpose Regulatory compliance is paramount to the Group. The Compliance Officer will work with the Group Compliance Team to help foster and maintain a sound compliance framework across the Group and Regional Offices, by helping to manage compliance risk and add value through the provision of second line of defence compliance services and support. The post holder will play an integral part in assisting in the implementation, oversight and monitoring adherence to compliance policies, processes, systems and controls, reporting requirements, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, whilst maintaining effective working relationships with Compliance peers and regional staff. Key responsibilities Assist in the promotion of an organisational customer centric compliance culture, committed to integrity, ethical conduct, and compliance with laws and regulation, by promoting positive examples of the standards required. Help to ensure that the Group Compliance Function remains on track with its Annual Compliance Plan activities, commitments and diarised reporting requirements. Assist in the monitoring and tracking of regulatory horizon scanning. Assist the Group Deputy Head of Compliance to ensure that we remain in compliance with the Bermuda laws, rules, regulations, policy, and ethical standards. Take a proactive and timely lead in the collation of MI and compliance information for the uploading and pre-preparation of the Group Quarterly Compliance reports for Boards and Committees. Assist in the annual update of Group Compliance policies and procedures. Participate where desired in relevant Group forums and Compliance working groups. Candidate requirements A strong background from a multi-jurisdictional Insurer or Re-insurer. A developing level of regulatory compliance experience undertaking analysis of regulation and providing input and opinions to Compliance peers and managers. Ability to work under pressure and manage stakeholder requests with own workloads. Good knowledge of the regulatory landscape within compliance Please get in touch with for more detail.
