Ignata Finance are exclusively retained on an Assistant Financial Controller search to join the Group Finance team in an International Luxury Retail Brand.The primary focus of the new Assistant Financial Controller will be to deliver strong, fast and accurate reporting, statutory accounts, lead year end audit and partner closely with the leadership team. The role has three reports and management experience isa key. Additionally, we are looking for someone to build and develop an effective control environment, best case policy and provide strategic insight and advice to the management team.To be successful in this role you will need to be proactive and output focussed, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment.This role would be a fantastic for someone with 1-2 years industry experience and looking to make their 2nd move out of practice and looking for progression.Key Responsibilities* Lead Year End Audit* Consolidation of group subsidiary accounts* Presentation of group balance sheet, P&L and Cashflow to senior leadership* Finalisation of Group Statutory accounts* Develop robust Financial Control and constantly improve existing processes. * Manage month end tasks* Understanding and supporting the business on profitable business growth, highlighting opportunities and risks* Developing and managing financial systems/models/policies* Management of a small team providing guidance and supportThe ideal candidate:* ACA/ACCA qualified.* Strong ability to implement and monitor internal controls* Analytical with strong attention to detail* Team manager and player* Good communicator, planner and organiser* Strategic finance and tax planning* Ambitious and forward thinker who embraces and adapts well to changeSalary on offer £70-£75k depending on experience.
