Job Description

Group Accountant - Real Estate (6 months Contract) -OUR CLIENT is a specialist owner and operator of real estate assets across the UK; as a growing business, the company invest, develop and asset manage the portfolio ofcommercial assets to create dynamic environments bespoke to the community as well as enhancing value and maximise shareholder returns.THE ROLE: Group Accountant will join their central Finance Team to support the Group Finance Heads and be responsible for:

  • Preparing management and statutory accounts.
  • Providing assistance with Group consolidation and reporting.
  • Assisting with audit queries when required.
  • Preparing VAT reporting.
  • Loan covenant reporting.
  • Head rent calculations.
  • Cash flow forecasting.
  • Reviewing purchase ledger invoices to ensure accuracy.
  • Performing account reconciliations and analysis.
THE PERSON: In order to apply, you must be a qualified Accountant with property sector experience. The ability to prepare various reports is key. You should be an excellent communicator and be able to take ownership of tasksand support the team in everyday duties as well as possessing the ability to produce full management accounts, as well as ideally statutory accounts. To apply, you should also ideally have property / real estate sector exposure and have worked on real estatesystems - QUBE / YARDI / MRI / TRAMPS or similar.
