As well as maintaining lawns we will need you to keep our neighbourhoods in bloom by planting trees, shrubs and flowers. You will maintain footpaths, walkways, car parks and other hard standing areas as well as clearing snow from pedestrian areas and carrying out repairs including fences and planters may also be needed.With suitable certification we will require you to apply herbicides on plants or soil. You will also carry out lawn inspections and apply fertilizers , pesticides as required. As we work within the general public we need you to ensure everything is carried out within Health & Safety guidelines and the groups Health & Safety Policy is adhered to.Please Note: This is an outdoors role, so you need to be prepared to work outside all year round, in the glorious British weather (that includes snow, shine or rain). This role will cover various sites around Milton Keynes we will therefore need you to have access to your own vehicle and a current driving license or means of mobility.For more information please download our job profile available on our website.More about youHave you worked within a landscape maintenance team previously If yes then we want to hear from you. Although it is not essential holding a PA1 and PA6A spraying license would be valuable . A full valid driving licence would be beneficial; as well as to have a trailer licence (B+E) or have passed your driving test prior to 1997 and have this entitlement .The Landscape Team carries out maintenance within our communities so this role will see you working closely with our customers, therefore we will need you to be an excellent communicator .
