Job Description

The VacancyReporting to the Technology and Third Party Governance Manager, the incoming Analyst will support on key initiatives involving Business Owners across Winterflood that are responsible for establishing and maintaining a variety of Third-party supplier and outsourcingrelationships. The primary function of the role will be to support the Technology and Third Party Governance Manager in achieving optimised commercial value and reducing the risks associated with such relationships throughout their lifecycle. There will alsobe opportunities to partner closely with the Head of Technology Governance to perform a range of different ad-hoc duties and projects relating to the wider governance arrangements and deliverables within Winterflood, including the FCA Senior Managers Regimeand the Operational Resilience programme. Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery and embedment of the Third Party Management Project and control framework integration across local business areas.
  • Work with the Technology and Third Party Governance Manager to maintain the third party management framework, policies, central inventory and other relevant documents.
  • Assist with the implementation of a new Third Party Management tool and associated internal training for Third Party Management process owners.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Third Party Management guidance and internal training for Business Owners.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Third Party Management MI including KRIs and KPIs.
  • Support the Business Owners with onboarding and ongoing monitoring of third parties including the completion of third party workbooks and monitoring reviews.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to gather information and carrying out effective outsourcing risk assessments
  • Identify and report supplier risk events or incidents to the Third Party Manager for escalation
  • Map framework controls to FCA SYSC 8 and where required the EBA guidelines.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the Head of Technology Governance in relation to the effective operation of Winterfloods governance and senior management arrangements.
Risk & Compliance
  • Ensure that all Governance, Compliance and Legal requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by Winterfloods Compliance function, Internal or external auditors or Winterfloods Regulators are carried out to the requiredstandards.
Skills & Experience
  • Excellent academic record including Minimum 2.1 University Degree in any relevant discipline
  • Authentic and demonstrable interest in Financial Markets
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Excellent coordination and organisational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent teamworking skills
  • Good theoretical grasp of the risk/regulatory landscape in the context of Financial Markets
