Job Description

Our client, a large highly rated Investment House managing over 300bn in assets has a rare opportunity to join their European all-cap team as Research Associate. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who has a curiosity and passion for equitymarkets and has a growth mind-set. This individual will work as part of a highly collaborative team and will be a ‘generalist’. Successful candidates will need to express gravitas, be extremely professional and efficient.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Perform detailed equity analysis and providing sound investment recommendations.
  • Analyse stock across sectors, and across the full cap spectrum
  • Build financial models
  • Monitoring and contributing to existing portfolio investments
  • Assisting in reporting to clients, including presenting performance information and writing reports
Necessary qualifications, experience and competencies:
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience as an Equity or Credit Analyst, gained either on the Buy or Sell side
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting, equity valuation and analytical techniques
  • Strong academics and preferably CFA qualified (or intention to enrol)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration skills
  • Be able to present clear compelling investment cases to a team
  • Flexibility, accuracy and an ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Intellectually curious
