Job Description

Company descriptionAn Australian based top-rated Global Independent Fund Manager with Offices in Melbourne, Sydney, London & New York. Offering products in Real Estate, Equities, Bonds & Alternative Investments.Opportunity for a recent graduate (no more than 2 years’ experience) looking for a career as an analyst in the private equity real estate sector. Experience desirable but not necessary, study support offered.Job responsibilities

  • Performing sensitivity and scenario analysis
  • Building ad hoc DCF models (single asset or portfolio)
  • Provide financial guidance & advice through analysis, interpretation of results & forecasts
  • Assistance with creation of standard template valuation models
  • Provide quality and insightful management information to the organisation
  • Collating data for & assisting in the preparation of board reports
  • To create, lead and support the regions approach to planning, budgeting and forecasting
  • Assist with the day to day management of the property portfolio
  • Create and maintain systems and processes which meet the highest standard of compliance for investors, regulators and internal requirements
    • Desired skills;
  • Strong academics; A-level grades and a minimum 2:1 finance or business-related degree
  • Part or Desire to complete Finance, Investment or Accounting Post Graduate Qualification
  • Ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial individuals
  • Ability to explain real estate/ property issues to non-property individuals
    • Personal attributes;
  • Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills
  • Highly computer literate with knowledge of Excel, MS Office and financial software
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet competing deadlines
  • Ability to understand complex financial and written information accurately
