Job Description

Our client is a leading Jewish Charity currently recruiting for a Government Grants Manager to join their team. Our client is offering an excellent holiday package, parking and would also consider flexible hours for the right candidate.:As Government Grants Manager your primary focus will be to oversee, organise and co-ordinate the work of the Grant team. Key responsibilities for this role are as follows: * Motivate and manage team to meet deadlines to the best possible standard* To be responsible for the oversight of all the reporting requirements for the grant* To be responsible for the grant budgets, maintaining a high level of accuracy and to report financial highlights to Director of Operations * Assess problems and identify innovative solutions and keep management apprised of ongoing problems* Allocate the workload appropriately across team members* Promote cooperation and positive inclusive atmosphere towards common goal* Perform monthly and quarterly audits for financial variance and governance * Process payments in Sage and MS Dynamics* Lead the annual audits to demonstrate compliance and governance* Record and monitor budget to spend and income and expenditure* Review Sage bank amendments* Raise accruals and recognise income in Sage* Using Excel functions to calculate, manipulate and record dataCandidates applying should have previous experience within the Charity sector specifically relating to grants, be able to manage and motivate a team and possess strong numeracy and IT skills.
