Objectives The role will require management of project and business analysis linked to the commodity group : New products, module implementation within Sophis Specification and testing of new bookings, pricing topics including position risk and client reporting Interaction with Quants and development teams Improvement within Sophis using the toolkits Implementation and maintenance of regulatory reportings (DF, Emir, GTR, RTS, MiFID, FRTB, RIM3+1, SFTR etc...) Implementation of Index Transition projects Stakeholder management Supporting the businesses day-to-day activities and ad-hoc requests The candidate will occasionally have business trips or visits to our clients head office (Paris) or other offices outside London. The following technical skills will assist with the role: SQL, Jira, Confluence and Control-M Context Global Market Commodity (GMC) Front-Office IT assist the GMC business with new and existing commodity activities, spanning instrument setup, trade lifecycle as well as Risk and Regulatory reporting of Oil, Gas, Power, Carbon, Precious and Base MetalsDerivative Instruments. GMC IT supports desks in London, Paris and New York as well as stakeholders in other geographical locations. This role is for a Senior Front Office Business Analyst based in London to work with the main Sophis booking system. The role will require interaction with other key business areas including Market Risk, Middle Office, Back Office, Compliance and other IT teams. On a functional aspect, knowledge of commodity derivatives, regulatory reportings, Greeks calculation and understanding of position keeping systems will be key. Good communication skills and capacity to work in a Front Office environment are also required.
