POSITION Description The Global Vendor and Content Manager, Translation Services will be responsible for all aspects in relation to appointing, onboarding and managing translation vendors across InvesTechand the Client Platform with the goal to deepen the pool of translation service providers (per language) with the right skillset; linguistic skills, investment writing, financial knowledge, and local market expertise. The manager will be responsible for creatinga robust translation services vendor management framework, including the oversight and management of a centralized, global vendor roster. The manager will work closely with internal, cross-functional colleagues to support the full scope of translation, trans-editingand trans-creation services and work to identify and address any gaps. Additionally, the manager will conduct regular service and relationship meetings with vendors to review performance against pre-agreed and documented service levels. The manager will beresponsible for collecting feedback from internal colleagues for use at, and in managing, service level delivery against expectations. As part of the vendor onboarding process, the manager will be responsible for any necessary training regarding process, technology,glossaries/memories and style preferences. In respect to content management, the Global Vendor and Content Manager will work with internal, cross-functional colleagues to define and manage appropriate workflow design and system connectivity to satisfy allareas of content delivery and production. Please note that this role could be located in any of Wellingtons European offices, London, Milan, Frankfurt, Luxembourg or Zurich. Specific responsibilities include but not limited to: Develop the overall frameworkfor Translation related services covering a mix of Marketing. Client Service and other forms of content, including management and leadership of translation related services to accomplish the functions objectives, including setting targets, implementing guidelinesand monitoring activities Define and be the custodian of the range of processes relating to translation, trans editing & transcreation activity Be responsible for brand and editorial guidelines to establish one tone of voice and writing style Define the acceptancecriteria for final translated outputs in agreement with internal stakeholders. Where applicable, perform quality checks at various stages of process to ensure quality and accuracy (proofreading, final eye...) Manage multi-country translation, trans edit andtranscreation projects, tasks and vendors; accountable for project status, client relationships, and ensuring quality and service always meet expectations Identifying new strategies, approaches or workflows with internal clients for continued improvement Adviseon and review internal stakeholders inputs from a translation perspective Put in place the right financial controls and processes and a commercial framework across the range of translation vendors (e.g agencies, freelancers, technology firms etc) Design andmanage financial plans and budgets for translation services, adjusting budgets across teams as needed Build a strong relationship with partner agencies/freelancer linguists and maintain a good relationship with internal stakeholders Attending meetings as requiredto discuss and clarify on briefs, client requirements, deadlines and budgets Compiling and presenting reports and presentations on cost, quality and translation activities Ensure compliance with the business quality procedures and GDPR standards Advise internalstakeholders / users on translation best practice Actively work with Translation Technology Partners to identify ways to automate and improve the processes and outputs skills and Qualifications: Proven quantitative or qualitative translation project managementexperience Experience within the translation industry, ideally with a qualification in translation or languages Good, general experience with main tools and vendors e.g RWS, Lionbridge and the use of their TMS solutions; experience with CAT tools (trainingon specific CAT tools to be provided as needed) Proven understanding of content processes and how they apply to different parts of an Asset Manager (e.g Marketing, Client Service, Legal etc) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; strong stakeholdermanagement Strong attention to detail, written and oral communication skills Positive and solutions-oriented mindset - strong organisation skills, able to demonstrate flexibility, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks in order to achieve team and businessrequirements Be dedicated, taking ownership of tasks and delivering work to a high quality Additional languages (above English) would be seen as an added advantage Experience within Financial Services SKILLS JOB TITLE Global Vendor and Content Manager TranslationServices LOCATION London As an equal opportunity employer, Wellington Management ensures that all qualified applicants will receive equal consideration for employment without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression,religion, creed, national origin, age, ancestry, disability (physical or mental), medical condition, citizenship, marital status, pregnancy, veteran or military status, genetic information or any other characteristic protected by applicable law .
