WHAT YOULL DOAs a Tax Analyst you will be a part of a specialist Global Mobility Tax function which supports the organization in providing tax advice on complex matters such as cross-border commuting, business travellers, and international remote working.Your responsibilities will include supporting the NAMR and AP Mobility Tax Managers in providing tax advice in respect of BCGs mobility programs (both tax equalised and non-tax equalised) and also providing directional guidance to key stakeholders in Financeand HR on tax policy matters relating to your geographical region. The region would cover North and Central America and Asia Pacific countries. The day-to-day responsibilities will vary depending on the needs of the broader Mobility Tax team but will includedelivering on both operational and project responsibilities in respect of cross border taxes. The successful candidate will work with the local offices to ensure compliance risks are correctly managed for appropriate personal income tax, social security andpayroll responsibilities which apply relating to staff working overseas. They will also be working with the local Finance and HR teams to identify and advise on individual tax risks and corporate permanent establishment risks associated with business travellersand overseas remote work requests. The responsibilities of the role will also include:providing personal income tax and social security tax estimates for staff cases where tax actions are required preparing year-end tax accrual cost calculations to localFinance working with offices throughout the regions to review their inbound and outbound business traveler population and manage any downstream impacts Support tax and social security risk assessments for remote working requests becoming the first pointof contact for HR and Finance contacts for their day to day Mobility Tax queries supporting the Tax Managers on project work, e.g., due diligence relating to entering new jurisdictions, and supporting the Mobility Tax Team Director and Regional CorporateTax Directors and Business Defence and Special Project Director in handling local tax audits in relation to cross border tax matters.The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills and ability to adopt new technology solutions and be comfortableworking in a fast paced and pressured environment. A keen interest in understanding broader global business strategies and an ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a mindful way is also required. In addition, the following key personal attributes are required to be successfulin the role:Strong organization skills, the ability to multi-task and ability to manage upwards Excellent communication skills, both written and oralPrevious experience in working in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work independently or tocollaborate with other groups Understanding both the importance of compliance and commerciality in business.YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) A minimum of 3 or 4 years of experience preferred in expatriate tax, ideally with a big four accountancyfirm or experience of working in a specialist tax role in-houseAnalytical and tax technical skills in the area of mobility tax including solid foundation of cross border issues with experience in individual tax mattersStrong Microsoft skills (basic outlookand excel skills at minimum) Experience in analysing data using Alteryx and Tableau is not mandatory but is preferred Ideally ATT or CTA or equivalent tax or legal qualification abroad with experience of US individual and/or corporate tax matters Ideallyhave US Enrolled Agent qualification.YOULL WORK WITHGlobal Tax is part of the wider Finance function. This role reports to the NAMR and AP Tax Managers (who reports into the Mobility Tax Team Director). The Mobility Tax Team are spread across several countriesincluding the UK, Sweden, Spain and India. They form part of the wider Global Tax Group which consists of 20+ people and this team reports into the Global Tax Senior Director. The key stakeholders for this role will be HR Global Mobility (who handle the operationsand advisory side of BCG Global Mobility), Local HR and Finance.
