An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Sustainability specialist to join a leading international law firm as their Global Sustainability Lead.As a key programme within the firm, the successful candidate will play a central role in the continued development of the firms Sustainability journey. Working alongside senior leaders, Sustainability champions, the firms D&I Lead and Global Communications team members, you will define, lead and implement the firmwide Sustainability strategy which currently rests on the three pillars of People, Planet and Practices. Chairing and facilitating working parties and groups and setting and managing the Sustainability budget, the role holder will be responsible for establishing the firms position on key aspects relating to Sustainability and embedding this within the firms wider strategy. Recognised as the central point of contact for Sustainability related matters across the firm and acting as an ambassador and champion of Sustainability internally and externally, you will need to identify suitable opportunities and alliances to further promote the programme. Leading on firmwide initiatives and activities, the Global Sustainability Lead will be expected to develop and embed industry best practice standards and protocols within the programme and will be tasked with developing and reviewing materials to promote and embed Sustainability, including materials for client pitches, recruitment and centralising information in the Sustainability intranet hub.The ideal candidate will be a bright graduate or equivalent with previous relevant experience in the legal sector. You should have exceptional relationship management skills in order to influence, enable and empower individuals, allied with a strong ability to manage stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
