Job Description

Job DescriptionThe Strategy Director will support the Global teams in driving digital excellence, growth, innovation and thought leadership for the agency and work across Nestls Business Units and will also work in close partnership with the Account and Digital & DataTeams.This role sits within the worldwide team at Zenith, however the role will be required to collaborate closely with other Zenith Departments (Especially Operations, programmatic and Search) and with Publicis Solutions hubs, working to deliver Power of OneGroupe projects for Nestl.Youll be the Global media strategy and planning lead on Nespresso where your strong leadership skills and strategic superpowers will come into play whilst talking to senior folks in multiple markets and leading the Team to greatness.

  • We are looking for a passionate individual to work within the Nestl team based in London. While we dont expect a single person to be an expert in every specialism, we are looking for someone who appreciates the importance of holistic plans, not just someonewho sees themselves as brand or performance, creative or analytical, digital or traditional; be responsible for driving brand success; build and hone deep and trusting relationships with clients business groups and key client stakeholders, bethe clients trusted advisor.
  • You will be required to lead regional media recommendations (such as Global Media Principles, Sufficiency Guidelines, Media Reviews, Roadmaps); Develop Integrated Communications Planning framework; Deploy global recommendations and provide guidance to localmarket media planning leads and work with Meta Research and Decision Science teams to ensure knowledge sharing and advise of research required (ongoing or ad hoc)

  • Working with the Strategy & Digital Managers, you will be leading the team in the development of the global communication strategies and driving innovation for all our brands. This role will see you help to develop cut through communications and activationsand leverage the experts and tools available across Publicis Groupe.
  • You will continuously improve our strategies and drive the innovation agenda with the client. In addition, you will help to shape the proactive agenda / thought leadership & innovation strategies for the client. Leading conversations with senior stakeholdersin the Brand & Communications teams as well as Research, Insights and Marketing.
QualificationsAs part of the role you will work with all the members of the team to evaluate the behaviours & performance of our brands and those of competitors using a wide range of tools. You will be required to both collate, analyse and develop learnings and insightsfrom a wide range of data sources as well as lead the strategic vision of the team. You will be asked to deal with a wide range of topics that cover media, brand, digital and creative.We are looking for a Strategy Director to define culturally provocative, creatively inspiring and business driving strategic vision for one of our biggest and most creatively fulfilling clients, one of the worlds largest CPG companies. Bringing robust leadershipexperience across brand communications, content and social planning best practice, you will create high value customer experiences, drive the vision for the brands integrated strategy while instilling best practice approaches and rigour to all comms.As well as having full ownership for the strategy across the Nespresso client, you will work with Digital & Data Strategy Leads across the business. You will be responsible for leading global Nespresso strategy and being the strategic entrepreneurial enginefor the brand, identifying new insights, opportunities, and briefs, driving effectiveness of the work, and fostering a strong high-level relationship with clients.You will lead, build and develop a diverse and inclusive strategy team. What are their goals What are their challenges How can we help make them betterYou will establish yourself as our clients "go to" strategy partner, developing a strong and trusted partnership with clients at every level. Integrating (and communicating to client) knowledge with respect to brand, social, media, creative and messagingeffectiveness from one campaign to the next.A background within a media agency, insight, strategy or digital are essential in addition to consumer research & insight development, able to identify & interpret actionable insights using data, able to present confidently and an ability to speak simplywhen explaining strategy.We are looking for a strong communicator and team player, able to understand the creative agency space, be able to think creatively, articulate a story and work collaboratively with cross agency teams to drive E2E thinking through to activation.
