Job Description

The RoleTo establish and deliver a consistent framework across a new Global Line of Business (GLOB) that enables the development and execution of the Sales and Client Management (S&CM) strategy in line with the WTW S&CM model. The successful candidate role will execute the WTW S&CM model across the GLOB delivering the following:

  • Creation of the sales framework for a new GLOB creating best in class outputs to support all stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Rigour - Stronger, more robust and consistent sales planning as a key element of the wider business planning process
  • Increased activity management and embedded disciplines (inc. new business pipeline management, etc.) making best use of available technology.
  • Increased connectivity across the globe by building a GLOB S&CM community driving business into the placement teams
  • Ensure effective cross team sales collaboration for the delivery of new global projects including a global A&H proposition
  • Support the delivery of agreed investments and assist in the identification of potential acquisitions targets
  • Consistency and enhanced messaging, management of campaigns, account planning and delivery of services and tools to colleagues
You will also:
  • Support and execute the Crisis Management S&CM goals working with both Crisis Management Geography leaders and in conjunction with the central S&CM leadership to deliver profitable new business and retention levels.
  • Ensure the continued promotion of internal tools that differentiate our proposition such as the use of our Alert:24, the Geopolitical Risk initiative as well as our risk and analytics capabilities.
  • Create a global community of growth leaders to share developments in S&CM, experiences and best practice - across the GLOB - and to be an advocate for the continued development of our value proposition including the use of our client facing tools. Inaddition, this role can drive greater connectivity and collaboration in relation to key prospect identification and account planning across geographies - as well as the most effective use of GLOB resource wherever that might be located.
  • Lead major offensive/defensive RfPs as required (to offer challenge/increase the likelihood of success) and support the development of a collaborative, winning culture.
  • To liaise closely with both WTW Geography leaders and support their respective S&CM leadership in addition to Geography and Line of Business leaders. Successful collaboration with all parties will be essential to support the execution of our business goals.
Qualifications - ExternalThe Requirements
  • Preferably educated to degree level and/or with extensive relevant industry experience
  • Proven success working in a fast-paced, high pressure environment and self-sufficient
  • Proven success at driving cultural change and process improvement to improve adoption of core sales support tools across the business
  • Strong organizational abilities and flexibility to work in a performance-driven environment managing multiple deliverables
  • Strong practical knowledge of strategic account development and appropriate tools to achieve this aim
  • Exceptional client relationship skills: the ability to build and develop an extensive network of major account contacts at prospects
  • Able to coach and lead senior executives to greater standards of performance, enhancing the support and motivation of the team
  • Comprehensive knowledge of WTW products and services and how these compare with the products available from key competitors
  • Comprehensive and demonstrable understanding of the new business sales process and the ability to operate at every level within the sales process from conducting a positive initial prospect meeting to crafting and delivering a compelling and successfulproposal
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with prospects
  • Able to deal professionally with internal and external contacts, able to represent GLOB and the wider WTW group with a high level of credibility
  • Ability to analyse data and situations and provide recommendations to identify optimum solutions
