Job Description

Global Sales & Marketing Operations DirectorA leading global provider of new generation IT solutions to the Travel, Transportation and Logistics industries is looking for a Head of Sales & Marketing Operations for their Global Sales & Marketing (GSM) Team. This role will unlock the full potentialof the sales organization and as a result drive and accelerate growth. This role will engage with multiple stakeholders, including Sales & Marketing, Finance, I.T., Product Heads and Legal.The ideal candidate will become a trusted leader as the world-wide SaaS business grows through elevating the Sales & Marketing operations and implementing best practices to a best-in-class level.Key Responsibilities Makes final decisions in conjunction with business leaders on operational, administrative or procedural matters and ensures operations effective achievement of objectives. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company. Prepare relevant analysis and presentations for the leadership team and communicate progress updates on related initiatives Owns and drives the sales forecasting process to ensure high levels of accuracy and quality in the pipeline Drive Sales Planning Process in cross-collaboration with Sales, Finance, Marketing and the Business leaders Drives strategic initiatives with strong collaboration with Sales & Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Product leadership Develops and sets strategy, requirements and process across full sales & marketing tech stack to ensure systems optimization and performanceLead and develop the Sales Operations team in order to enable their operational success and professional developmentSkills & Experience 7-10 years of relevant revenue/sales operations work experience; preferably in a high-growth, dynamic SaaS environment 3-5 years of people management experience Deep knowledge of Salesforce required Proven track record as a Salesforce administrator (5 years; Admin certifications a plus); able to roll up your sleeves and perform admin/configuration work Experience working in a team using marketing automation tools (Marketo, Adobe, Pardot, etc.) Experience with vendor management and full-cycle ownership (evaluation, implementation, ongoing administration) of entire tech-stack Strong understanding of standard sales and marketing operations processes (sales forecasting, sales compensation, territory management, and sales quotas)Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; able to assess prioritization by gauging business impact in consideration of competing priorities Strong business acumen, communication, critical thinking skills, and analysis capabilities Comfortable presenting and making recommendations to executive level and C-suite Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationships with multiple functions Ability to inspire, motivate and influence behaviors to help drive change Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities Strong analytical mindsetFlexible LocationCompetitive package and benefitsSome international travel will be required (when regulations permit)
