Job Description

Your New Daily rate: up to £373 p/day PAYE or £489 umbrella (inside IR35) * equivalent of up to £97k pa.Duration: Long term temporary assignment until 05/07/2024Location: Central London, hybrid working available Start date: ASAPWorking hours: 37.5 hours per weekJob posting ID: JP101841Who youll be working for: Our client, a major FTSE100 business, who have fantastic offices in London are looking for a Global Procurement Manager (R&D).Global Procurement Manager - What Youll be Doing:

  • Indirect procurement for medical affairs
  • Procurement of a wide range of services such as communications, legal, professional and clinical
  • Be the global procurement business partner and align with various internal stakeholders: Other procurement teams, Finance, TPRM team (Third Party risk Management), Global and Local Medical teams.
  • Consolidate and analyse complex data in line with the category strategy.
  • Lead and execute RFPs (Request for Proposal).
  • E-Sourcing
  • Stakeholder management
  • Working on Statement of Works (SoW) and Master Service Agreements
  • Working on Ariba daily
Global Procurement Manager - The Skills Youll Need to Succeed:
  • Procurement experience, with indirect procurement expertise.
  • Data analysis capabilities.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills are essential.
  • Good knowledge of the RFPs, RFIs and e-sourcing processes. (RFI - Request for Information)
  • Proven negotiations and contract management skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility.
  • English proficiency (written and oral), other language will be a plus
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise considerable judgement and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use negotiation and conflict resolution skills to protect rights and interests
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks across multiple projects using project management skills
  • Proven ability to provide effective procurement management in complex organizations using technical expertise and analytical skills
