Job Description

international law firm works from over 20 global offices, their work is cross-border, high profile and complex. They work across many businesses area including insurance, energy, corporate and dispute resolution.They are currently looking for Global Partnership Accounts Manager the position requires strong organisation, administration, and analytical skills together with close attention to detail. The job holder also needs strong written and verbal communicationskills and the ability to forge relationships with senior stakeholders within the firm, including partners and finance teams throughout the worldwide firm.Responsibilities

  • Overseeing completion of month end partner-related processes and reviews.
  • Oversee posting of journals to partners current accounts, tax reserves, capital accounts and drawings accounts including monthly accruals and year-end profit allocations and changes in capital.
  • Maintenance of detailed partner profit sharing information for all partners throughout the year, including liaison with the appropriate business services representatives to ensure information is accurate and fully up to date.
  • Management of the forecasting, calculation and payment of partners monthly drawings and distributions.
  • Oversee administration of partner capital, including liaison with banks providing partner capital loans.
  • Oversee preparation of annual partner statements (actual and budget), including reconciliation of partner balances between statements and the accounts system.
  • Supervision and review of work and performance of team members, with feedback to superiors as appropriate.
  • Active role in the day-to-day development of others, providing constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Regular contact with partners, providing information and dealing sensitively and promptly with their queries.
  • Develop collaborative and robust working relationships with stakeholders across the UK and overseas offices.
  • Review and preparation of illustrative cash flow statements and performance of other administrative duties relating to lateral hire partners and retiring partners.
  • Review of systems, processes, and procedures, working on a continuous improvement basis.
  • Support the Global Partnership and Financial Accounting Lead and Global Partnership Accounts.
  • Senior Manager with ad-hoc analysis and project work.
  • Resolve audit queries in relation to partner matters.
Candidate Profile
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
  • Partnership accounts experience, preferably across multiple countries/jurisdictions internationally.
  • Proven experience as supervisor (or equivalent) role. Ability to review, coach and develop others.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Excel, including use of pivot tables as well as vlookup and sumif
  • formulas as a minimum. Experience with Macros, Power Query and Power BI an advantage.
  • Highly organised and structured. Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong level of accuracy, attention to detail and excellent analytical skills to manage large volumes of data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take responsibility and be accountable.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and remain calm when operating under pressure.
  • Good team player: Able to work autonomously and as part of a broader team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to forge strong working relationships with members of the finance team, partners and other senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Elite 3E and Elite Enterprise would be an advantage.
