Who we are looking forWe are looking for a Global Markets Senior Auditor, Officer, who is experienced in executing assessment of business process and technology risks and controls. In this role you will manage audit projects and lead teams, supervise and direct risk and controlassessment, and act as an expert subject matter for the business lines and senior management. This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements. What you will be responsible forAs Global Markets Senior Auditor, Officer you will

  • Plan and/or execute audit projects according to a risk-based methodology in line with Division and Industry Standards.
  • Supervise and direct the execution of risk and control assessments, along with effective and efficient testing of key controls.
  • Review audit work and conclusion of audit tests results.
  • Draft audit reports in accordance with Division standards.
  • Partner with 1st and 2nd line management to communicate expectations and manage any project issues that may arise throughout the audit.
  • Communicate audit issues to senior business and audit management and collaborate with management to develop and negotiate solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of audits and assigned functions, including utilization of technology, products, organizational activities, and systems.
  • Establish and maintain strong and effective client relationships within the business and supporting organizations and assist management in the understanding and adaptation of internal control principles.
  • Meaningfully contribute to change initiatives by participation in system and business process change initiatives.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or its equivalent.
  • Industry recognized certification like CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, CISM.
  • 5+ years of experience in executing assessment of business process and technology/ITGC risks and controls and testing design and effectives of mitigating controls.
  • 2+ years leading and supervising audit engagements. Experience in either public accounting or financial services internal audit preferred.
  • A working knowledge of Capital Markets (including foreign exchange, securities lending, broker/dealer, trade operations) and experience with relevant regulatory guidance (ex. MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, MAR, Volker, EMIR, etc.) is highly preferred
  • Knowledge and Experience in following a plus: blockchain and distributed ledger technology, custody of digital assets, tokenization, smart contracts, technology consulting, system auditing, cyber-security, Public and Private Cloud, software development,large project systems integration, risk management, data analytics.
