Job Description

Job Purpose and BackgroundAre you passionate about marketing, communications and the environment Are you looking for a role that uses your skills in strategic marketing to make a difference CDP is looking for a full-time Global Head of Marketing to bebased in our London headquarters. This is a unique opportunity to make your mark in a dynamic, business-facing organization, working to achieve CDPs mission.The successful candidate will play a lead role within our global strategic communications and marketingteam, providing vision and strategic direction to the marketing activities of CDP. The Global Head of Marketing is a new role, responsible for developing as well as hands-on delivery of marketing strategy, plans and campaigns in line with CDPs strategic goals,with primary focus on our corporate target market. You will liaise with internal stakeholders, translating their needs and helping them deliver against business objectives through high quality marketing support. You will be results-oriented with strong interpersonalskills and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a wider global comms team and corporate team, to ensure that CDP is strategic, influential, coherent and compelling in its engagement with key audiences.Key responsibilities include: Lead the developmentof a global marketing strategy and plan, initially focused on our corporate stakeholders to support our new commercial plan and build engagement among companies in line with the corporate teams global objectives. Working closely with the wider Comms team,lead and deliver the implementation of integrated multi-channel global marketing campaigns that deliver against CDPs corporate stakeholder commercial plan as well as support CDPs overarching 2025 strategic plan. Using best practice marketing techniques,develop a clear understanding of audiences, build out personas, map the buyer journey through to effective lead conversion, deploy segmentation tactics to identify supporter growth opportunities and drive development of a value proposition to inform effectiveproduct development and pricing. Working closely with the content team, plan and deliver high quality, creative marketing content to achieve targets. Tactics will include social media - advertising and analytics, leveraging market research to inform our activities,paid social, search, email and digital display, building partnerships, etc. Ensure that a fully integrated approach is taken to all campaigns and marketing activity is effectively optimised across existing and new channels to deliver maximum value and ROIon an ongoing basis, focusing on key metrics including traffic, user outcomes/satisfaction, supporter actions, income, etc. Lead and deliver the monitoring, evaluation, reporting and sharing of learnings against KPIs to inform ongoing best practice, includingin-campaign reporting and optimising tactics, setting up tracking, improving reporting systems, agreeing attribution metrics. Ensure marketing requirements are inputted and understood by the business for the development and optimisation of marketing technology.Build excellent working relationships, demonstrate leadership and manage global coordination across CDP offices to foster best practice marketing, build skills and support colleagues in developing and delivering high quality marketing plans in key markets(e.g. Europe, North America, Latin America, SE Asia) Develop and manage successful relationships with external agencies, partners and other third-party providers to ensure high-quality cost-effective delivery. Show effective oversight and management of budgets,working alongside senior colleagues. Demonstrate effective line management of a team. Champion the CDP Brand among key internal and external stakeholders.Required skills and experience: Proven success of developing, implementing and evaluating highly successfulcross-channel marketing strategies in a B2B environment working closely with sales and business development teams; Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and nurture relationships both internally and externally, including complex multi-stakeholderrelationships; Experience working as part of a global team; Strong analytical and technical skills for tracking and reporting; The ability to process complex information; Line management experience with excellent team skills and the flexibility to work acrossthe business and with global offices; Excellent time management skills and an ability to meet deadlines under pressure and manage multiple project and stakeholder demands simultaneously; At least the equivalent of 10+ years of relevant B2B experience. An advanceddegree in management, business administration or CIM qualification. In-depth understanding of marketing tools and methodologies and practical experience delivering and executing a strategic marketing plan. Ability to link marketing activity to strategic objectives.Expert-level user proficiency, or willingness to rapidly develop such, with: Confident working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite CMS CRM Email Marketing Software and building user journeys (Campaign Monitor) Marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, GoodData Studio) Paid (and grant) search, display and social media advertising. Excellent copywriting skills, with experience writing compelling copy for marketing collateral including webpages, emails, case studies, etc. Project Management skills Solid understandingof legal compliance in the areas of marketing / data activity.Desired skills and experience: Experience working with global corporations, cities or national or local government; Experience working with nonprofits and/or companies on environmental sustainabilityissue areasThis is a full-time permanent role based out of CDPs London office reporting to the Global Director Strategic Communications and Marketing.Salary and benefits: £61,000 per annum, annual discretionary bonus (depending on company performance), 30days holiday, generous non-contributory pension provision, life assurance and others.Interested applicants must be eligible to work legally in the UK.Before you applyWell only use the information you provide to process your application.
