About the role:Global Head of Financial RiskThis is an opportunity to join as a Leader in theRisk Function, your missionwill involve: Leading, mentoring and hiring to further build Risk management teams. Developing and leading second line risk management for financial riskscovering liquidity, market, credit risks and prudential risks. Developing the risk appetite framework for financial risks at group level, as well assupporting regional risk teams in adapting the framework for regional entities. Provide advisory support to the first line to ensure appropriate KRIs are developedand monitored which are aligned to RAS Lead the second line stress testing framework for financial risks and responsible forensuring risks are adequately captured in our capital and liquidity assessment. Streamlining and embedding financial risk assessment for new productdevelopment Be an SME lead for financial risk for first line at group level for financial risks Support the business with identification of control gaps and engage proactivelyand constructively with senior stakeholders to ensure appropriate prioritisation tomatters Chair and manage financial risk committee at group Ultimately building a strong global financial risk function with regional delegatedroles and responsibilities to support the group objective Own and develop policies, procedures and training related to financial riskmanagementThe experience, background and competencies needed to succeed in this role: We’re looking for someone that is passionate about payments, fintech and goodgovernance, with an eye on the future. You have a deep understanding of financial risks, specifically having a strongliquidity risk understanding is important. You’ve shown that you can roll up your sleeves, execute and get into the detailswith the first line teams to get things done. Understanding of regulations in at least one tier 1 market such as; US, UK, AU or EUon capital and liquidity requirements would be valuable. You have a progressive and practical approach to risk management and have theability to use data and metrics to help us measure and manage risk effectively.
