Job Description

Head of Cyber Security Operations

  • 12-month contract
  • Umbrella
  • Remote - must be willing to get to London or Bristol offices when required
  • £900-1000 (may be some flex)
Our client, an international financial services provider are actively looking for an experience Global Head of Security Operations to work with them on a 12- 24 month program of work. This is a business-critical program to combine their current SIEM/ collapseSIEMS, streamlining them into one SIEM solution. They are hiring a whole project team to do this and you will be leading the core delivery of the new solution. It is essential that you have worked on a similar program before.Skills & Experience required
  • Extensive senior stakeholder management skills.
  • Leadership skills and management capabilities.
  • Excellent communicator, able to motivate, coach and mentor teams and stakeholders.
  • The ability to drive and manage effective and efficient utilization of existing tools, processes, licenses, and resources
  • Plan, prioritise and conduct cost analysis for future technical services and tooling to deliver the global security strategy and roadmap
  • Provide a range of technical security services to all markets
  • Deliver policy compliant information security services
  • Manage identification and resolution of security risks and issues in agreed and timely manner
  • Define appropriate Key Performance Indicators and targets for activity, ensuring suitable methods of reporting are in place to report into the global CISO
  • Work with the CISO leadership team tea m to define and drive the direction and development of your function
  • A strong ability to manage 3rd party suppliers
Experience Required:
  • Experience running a Cyber operations team at a global level, ideally for an outsourced provider or highly regulated environment.
  • Experience migrating multiple SIEMS into one SIEM solution - Sentinel preferred
  • Experience of working with on prem and cloud based SIEM solutions
