Location: London Grade: 13 ( for internal purposes only ) The Role: This role is responsible for the Generating Fuels and Electricity Pricing team globally. Based in London, the global head plays an essential role in driving forward our global generating fuels and electricity coverage including the developmentof new indices and assessments, strengthening existing benchmarks and other pricing coverage, as well as driving excellence in news coverage in collaboration with the global news team, and deep customer engagement for natural gas, coal, uranium, and electricitymarkets around the world. The global head manages a team of people based in India, UK and US. This pivotal role sits within the Established Benchmarks leadership team and responsibilities include the important Platts North American natural gas benchmark indices.The global head provides overall strategy for the group as well as decision-making around key benchmarks. They also engage comprehensively internally and externally with key stakeholders, including through methodology development and other discussions. The Impact: This is a key role for S&P Global Commodity Insights as it is focused on defending and strengthening Platts reputation in respect of existing generating fuels and electricity benchmarks as well as expanding its profile and footprint withinthe sectors both regionally and globally. The global head reports to the Head of Established Benchmarks. The Team / The Business: You will work with a high profile and highly motivated global leadership team, producing pricing and benchmarks for the worlds commodities markets. You will manage reporters spanning the globe, with the team analyzing marketactivity and data and reporting on the factors impacting the markets. The team is highly collaborative and engages with the market through various mediums, including commentaries, stories, podcasts, blogs, and videos. It is vital the team works successfullyacross other content sectors such as Energy Transition, as well as with other business units including Product, Marketing and Sales.
