Job Description

THE GIG The Global FP&A Manager will be supporting the Global Head of FP&A in providing analysis of business performance, preparing financial models, assisting in the forecasting and budgeting processes. You will act as a key member of theGlobal FP&A team, supporting with the delivery of team strategic objectives of process improvement, finance best practice and driving change. The key responsibilities of the Global FP&A Manager are:

  • Assisting the Global Head of FP&A in preparing the monthly latest estimate of global performance, based on analysis of trading and commercial insights.
  • Preparing, developing, and analysing key financial information to ensure the leadership team make well-informed decisions for profit growth.
  • Supporting in the budget/forecast process, including delivery of consolidated board presentations, product and KPI analysis, to provide insights and factual storytelling to the CFO.
  • Working in partnership with the Senior FP&A Managers to deliver best practice, encourage idea sharing and collaborative problem solving.
  • Supporting the Global FP&A team by building robust financial models according to business needs, manipulating large data sets out of DM Product, DTC and B2B data cubes.
  • Building a close working relationship with Global Supply Chain Finance, Group Reporting and Regional FP&A teams to drive global alignment and strong working relationships.
  • Supporting on key FP&A Strategic Projects including Global Standardisation of Budgeting Processes.
  • Assisting the Global Head of FP&A on delivering any ad hoc requests for global data and analysis.
  • Supporting Investor Relations and Group Reporting with analysis and storytelling for external announcements.
THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART Put simply, for this role the key things we’re looking for are:
  • A fully qualified accountant with a strong knowledge of financial processes and accounting principles.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience within the FTSE listed/retail sector would be desirable.
  • The ability to grasp new tasks and information in a fast moving, deadline driven environment.
  • Demonstrative experience in financial modelling, and dealing with complex data, financial analysis and supporting key decision makers.
  • Confidence in building credibility and solid working relationship with key stakeholders; with great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commercial awareness and proactiveness; sharing insight internally and collaborating in person.
  • The ability to think outside the box to constantly improve accounting processes in an ever-changing business environment.
