Our supply chain operations are key to delivering this growth and an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team as a Global Carrier Manager. Working with third party logisticsproviders you will play a key role, ensuring our products are delivered to our stores and customers around the world.This is a challenging and rewarding role for an ambitious Carrier Managerlooking to join a fast-growing business and gain experience in delivering real results in a challenging environment. The role reports to the Global Logistics Manager.Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor all Carrier activity across our network, liaising with Supply Chain Colleagues, Retail, E-Comm and Customer Service teams to facilitate efficient Carrier operations through effective planning
• Set all SLAs and KPIs and monitor them with the providers. Plan and attend all Commercial and operational reviews on a regular basis to discuss ways of working, budgeting and KPI performance. Budget responsibility circa £20m
• Liaise with Mountain Warehouses internal teams (primarily Retail, E-Comm, Customer Service, and Supply Chain) to provide our partners with the necessary forecast information to enable them to plan and execute day to day operations effectively and efficiently(Sales and Operations planning). Also work with these teams on network capacity planning.
• Develop continuous improvement plans and longer-term strategic requirements to ensure operations keep up with customer demands while cost control is maintained and reduced where possible
• Demonstrated ability to work with large quantities of statistical data and convert it into understandable results
• Facilitate change management with all service providers as Mountain Warehouse and our DCs evolve and implement initiatives
• Support and work with Finance, Supply Chain, IT, Merchandising and Channel teams to develop and deliver Mountain Warehouse business strategies
• Promote a culture of accountability, partnership, and continuous improvement with our Carrier partners
• Act as the initial contact for joint Mountain Warehouse / Carrier Business Continuity Planning, ensuring BC plans are maintained and routinely reviewed
• Manage relationships with key customers effectively
• Support the relationship with our Logistics Warehouse partners around the world
• Develop clear and detailed reporting metrics that bring visibility across the entire supply chain
• Define and implement our Global Returns strategy to support and grow our Customer proposition in all areas of the world

We would love to meet someone with:

• Proven Commercial skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Carrier management - particularly relationships/account management
• Returns management - particularly from B2C Customers
• Understanding of cross border shipping
• Previous Supply chain, ECOM, and Customer Service experience
• Strong Negotiation skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• An ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
• Have strong inter-personal and communication skills, to build and maintain relationships
• Highly organized who can manage time effectively to meet given deadlines
• An ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Has worked in a similar fast paced high growth business environment
• Proven record of reducing costs through managing a continuous improvement programme
• Understands buying and merchandising processes and the importance of logistics within the overall supply chain
• Ideally have run, or supported RFP processes to select preferred Carriers
