Our global client portfolio comprises a range of category leaders including Reckitt, TikTok, Edrington, Coty, Electrolux and Nestl.About the client:Edrington is a leading global spirits company with brands like The Macallan, The Famous Grouse, Highland Park and Brugal with headquarters in Glasgow.Job DescriptionThe Global Account Manager will be a core part of the global client team for Edrington working across account, strategy, and digital disciplines to deliver best in class planning, activation, and local market execution. This role is an exciting opportunityto work across a wide variety of disciplines that will allow the right candidate to learn and grow.You will be expected to drive key client projects that will include annual planning management, supporting business growth strategy development, leading cross channel digital strategy, coordinating central activation across specialist teams, and supportingon other digital/strategy projects.The role is an exciting opportunity to work with a client that is transforming their businesses and be a part of facilitating this. Edrington is a leading global spirits company with brands like The Macallan, The Famous Grouse, Highland Park, and Brugalwith headquarters in Glasgow. We run central activations, meaning you will be hands on with projects for famous brands such as The Macallan. There is also local market co-ordination for other Edrington brands meaning you must be well organised and able tojuggle workloads to take on this dynamic role.About the work:Project management and network governance

  • Support Account lead across all ongoing deliverables and reporting if required
  • Support Account lead on commercial management of the account (fees, service evaluations)
  • Develop and implement efficient standard processes across the team to streamline tasks working with account, strategy, and digital teams
  • Oversight of local market activities ensuring they adhere to centrally developed guidelines
  • Lead network management and best practice sharing across all disciplines, driving regular local market calls to build relationship and one team spirit, champion best practices, and deploy & track key digital priorities.
  • Lead client test and learn agenda, managing local team delivery against framework, and working with local markets to scale best practice.
Strategic support
  • Coordinate the delivery and quality control of local annual media plans.
  • Support regional campaign guidelines creation (audience research, activation ideas, market comparison, etc.).
  • Coordinate market rollout of guidelines, managing both client and local Zenith stakeholders.
  • Own asset demand planning and relationship with production agency.
  • Assist with the relationship development with media owners to drive innovation.
Digital strategy & activation
  • Develop insights led global activation strategy, best practices, and media plans for search (PPC+SEO), paid social, and online video; for both central and local activation.
  • Oversee channel teams to ensure best in class delivery of plans, execution and reporting.
  • Drive cross channel reporting and insights generation for central performance activation.
  • Develop and deploy channel best practice toolkits to ensure adoption of global strategy.
  • Support Digital Director on key digital projects e.g. ad-tech consolidation, data strategy, reporting dashboard, and digital roadmap development.
QualificationsKey requirements:Must have demonstrable technical knowledge and experience in at least three of the areas below:
  • Developing cross channel digital media strategies (e.g. search, programmatic, social, online video, etc.).
  • Experience in multi-market strategy & activation in at least one biddable channel e.g. Facebook, Google Adwords, Amazon, etc.
  • Experience in developing and/or executing a programmatic strategy (with experience in at least one DSP) (Preferred)
  • Ad-operations experience (e.g. has trafficked a campaign, set up an ad-server account, or integrated DoubleClick platforms).
  • Proven experience with web analytics platforms like Google Analytics or Adobe.
  • Advanced knowledge of key global media owners e.g. Facebook, Google, Adform or Amazon.
A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:
  • Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills to be able to engage with multiple stakeholders to drive delivery of projects
  • Proven client management experience
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high standard of work
  • Evidence of being solution driven and innovative with how they drive performance and delivery
  • Experience working across a variety of media channels, or a strong desire to learn about both online and offline media
  • Strong Excel skills, able to prove these skills in a busy working environment
  • Great presentation skills - able to speak confidently to the clients and internal stakeholders
  • You are currently a Junior AM or an Account Manager in a local or international environment, ready to take on a new challenge
