Job Description

German speaking Credit Controller - Luxury Goods Company£28k (dependent on experience) + friendly, close-knit working environmentA successful, luxury goods business, with a strong global presence, is looking to recruit a Credit Controller who speaks native standard German and fluent English, both written & verbal Key responsibilities for the German speaking Credit Controller include;

  • Cash posting and credit control for Client portfolio based in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Belgium
  • Liaise with a range of customers to ensure timely and efficient collection of outstanding payments, whilst building and maintaining excellent relationships
  • Analyze cash receipts and post payments to appropriate customer accounts.
  • Calculate payments made; validate underpayments
  • Utilize E Billing system and ensure customer details are up to date
  • Credit check new and existing customers via online credit reference agency
  • Liaise regularly with other internal departments including the Export Sales team to understand the sales ordering process and how invoices are generated
    • German speaking Credit Controller profile;
  • Native standard German speaker with fluent English, both written & verbal
  • Ideally min 2yrs working as a Credit Controller or within a Finance role
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good numeracy skuills, organized, assertive, and able to easily develop relationships both with customers and within the Business
  • Tactful and solutions-focused; able to offer world-class, high-end customer service at all times
