German Speaking Airline Reservations Agent, London, Salary to £24k inc bonus plus travel benefitsThis is a fantastic role to enter the aviation industry in reservations for a major carrier. They are seeking a friendly and motivated customer service agents who speak fluent German and English. Travel industry background would be a major advantage as well as a major GDS.German Speaking Airline Reservations Agent Responsibilities:To provide excellent customer service to passengers and provide reservationsHandle reservations and bookings for flights, hotels, railwaysTicketing, issuing, reissuing tickets and refunds Operate the internal systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date recordsCall customers in case of irregular operationsCarry out other duties as instructed by Supervisor/ManagerGerman Speaking Airline Reservations Agent Requirements:Mother tongue/fluent German and fluent EnglishIdeally travel reservations experience, if not a call centre backgroundIdeally GDS trainedProfessional verbal and written communication skillsProficient in computer skillsTeam playerTime management skillsAbility to work under pressureAttention to detailMaintain confidentiality Additional Information:Flexible and able to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays according to roster.
