Job Description

We have partnered with a Luxury Womenswear Designer, who are known for their Fresh, clean and innovative silhouettes. The brand requires a Creative Manual & Gerber Pattern Cutter.You will be working on collections and reporting directly to the Head of Atelier.Responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with the Design team, and Atelier team.
  • Creating first patterns from sketches and images.
  • Creating accurate toiles
  • Creating detailed pattern spec sheets
  • Attending fit sessions with the team to problem solve and find design and fit solutions.
  • Making pattern amendments from fit meetings
  • Attending production fit meetings, altering patterns accordingly and following them through to pre-production stage
  • Following patterns through to sealing stage and preparing them for production and show.
Key Skills:
  • Extensive and credible pattern cutting experience within Luxury Designers
  • Excellent understanding of detail, shape and proportion
  • Ability to translate images, sketches, and ideas confidently and creatively into accurate patterns
  • Basic grading knowledge
  • Proficient to advanced use of Gerber.
  • Team Player
  • Passion and for Pattern, design and garment construction.
