Job Description

Blackrock Expert Services, market leaders in programme management, forensic delay, project management and quantity surveying expert work, are looking for Geotechnical Engineers with the drive and ambition to take the next step in their careers. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on some of the largest national and international projects currently in arbitration or litigation and be part of an expanding and highly regarded team.This role will entail:

  • Delay analysis of construction works and projects,
  • Support to leading Delay experts involved in international arbitration and litigation
  • Analyse the materials handling on construction projects
  • Make assessment of the efficiency and performance of materials and systems
  • London based with some national and international travel.
  • Desired Skills and Experience:
  • BSE Geological Engineering agree;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working on site;
  • Experience of being involved on projects from planning through to completion stage;
  • Experience of geotechnics, site investigations and geo-environmental field experience would be an advantage;
  • Experience of working on various projects concerning detailed settlement analysis, slope stability assessment, ground investigations, foundation design, retaining wall design and land contamination assessments would be an advantage;
  • Energetic, pro-active and professional with a good understanding of commercial and project management;
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel;
  • Excellent analytical skills, an attention to detail and exceptional report writing skills;
  • Fluent in English
