Job Description

The Company:

  • The client is a global leader in UPS Power Supplies, UPS Generators and Standby Generators.
  • The Company provide over 8, 000 generators and UPS systems across the world.
  • Established for 90 years, the company continues to grow with expansion planned in the coming years.
The Role of the Generator Service Engineer:
  • Maintaining & Servicing critical power systems and associated equipment.
  • Fault finding on both electrical & mechanical equipment.
  • Efficient communication with quotation teams to ensure correct parts are ordered.
  • Role requires travel to various locations across the UK.
  • Always adhere to health and safety guidelines.
  • Requirement to be on call for 1 week in 6.

  • £34,000 - £36,000,
  • Overtime available paid at time ½ or double time

The Ideal Person for the Generator Service Engineer:
  • Technical qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Experience working on standby generators or rental generators.
  • Enhanced DBS check is required.
  • Clear communication both written & verbal.
