Based on the success of our award winning first home in Chelsea Loveday, is expanding across London with both additional properties and innovative new services for seniors.Role:Reporting to the Managing Director, the General Manager will be responsible for all aspects of operations within the property, day-to-day management of the team, guests, and business partners. They should be active in the local community and seen as an ambassadorfor the company and the property. Provides leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of the Loveday service culture, guest satisfaction, revenue generation and maximisation of profit. A brand new concept combining 5 star luxury hospitalityand care.Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operational functions of the property, as per the organisational chart.
  • Holds a daily team briefing, bi-weekly Management Meeting, and monthly meetings with all team members.
  • Inspires and develops the team to ensure personal development and career progression within the company.
  • Lives the companys Above & Beyond service ethos and embeds the culture holistically across the business.
  • Ensures full compliance to the companies operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Leads all key property issues, including customer service, technology projects and renovation plans.
  • Manages customer feedback on review sites and personally responds to all written complaints. Oversees the service recovery procedures.
  • Responsible for the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the hotels annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan and Capital Budget.
  • A high level of financial numeracy and keen understanding of P&L statements and the ability to react to any shortfalls with impactful top-line and bottom-line strategies.
  • Closely monitor the hotels business intelligence (daily revenue summary, pick up reports, weekly forecasts, and takes proactive decisions accordingly.
  • Ensures that monthly financial outlooks for Rooms, Food & Beverage, Ancillary Revenues, Admin & General, is on target and accurate.
  • Attends the weekly revenue meeting and contributes to maximising room yield and hotels revenue through insightful digital and traditional marketing, sales practices and revenue management techniques.
  • Regularly entertains key clients and takes part in client acquisition along with the sales team whenever required.
  • Assisting in sales tours as and when required and development with strong sales prospects.
  • Responsible for upholding Lovedays ESG framework; safeguarding the quality of operations both (internal & external audits).
  • Responsible for legalisation, Occupational Health & Safety Act, fire regulations and other legal requirements.
Candidate Requirements:The ideal candidate will be a seasoned and highly intelligent hotel professional with outstanding management skills and extensive hands-on luxury service experience that includes both Front of House and Food & Beverage positions in a boutique, luxury hotel.Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and occasional nights.They will withhold a university degree in hotel management or a related field, with experience in opening, managing, and/or re-positioning a hotel or similar facility with a clear track record of revenue outperformance.With at least 10 to 15 years experience in the hospitality industry, the ideal candidate must have been a manager in a luxury hotel and international experience would be a bonus, ideally including boutique hotel experience and at least 5 years of experienceas a Resident Manager.Reward PackageIn return, we will be offering a competitive salary depending on experience, with attractive benefits including:
