Job Description

GCP Platform DevOps Engineer | Start Up | FinTech | Outside IR35I am working with an exciting fin-tech start up in their infancy that require a hands on GCP DevOps expert with a proven track record for building out multi regional platforms from the ground up. You will be working with the tech lead as part of a two man teamdedicated to creating the architecture, infrastructure and platform to meet a tight deadline as the business approaches their launch in spring 2022.

  • 12 month contract
  • Outside IR35
  • Remote Working
  • Must be UK based, Sponsorship cannot be offered for this role
Essential Skills:
  • Expert level experience working within GCP cloud to build infrastructure from scratch
  • Proficient in creating Infrastructure as Code
  • Comprehensive understanding of GCP platform and relevant services
  • Expertise in building secure GCP orgs using CFT or CFF terraform modules that satisfy various security compliance benchmarks (GCP CIS, PCI-DSS etc.)
  • Expert knowledge of Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) to build a resilient, multi-regional platform to support micro-services driven application architecture
  • Expert in Terraform and IaC tooling eco-systems
Relevant Experience:
  • Proven track record for taking a hands on and senior role on start-up projects
  • Experience working on Greenfield DevOps projects to create cloud platforms in GCP
  • Background working in Fin tech start-up projects
  • Experience working to tight deadlines to ensure completion of project
