Job Description

We have an opportunity for an experienced Gas Engineer to work with a Leading Energy Supplier covering the London area.Duration: Initial 6 months with potential longer term extension.The Gas Engineer will be attending customer homes, commercial properties which may include offices, restaurants and hospitality venues, schools, hospitals/care homes and other designated customer premises. (Relevant Disclosure will be required) Transport will be provided.You will be required to service and repair Commercial and Domestic Gas appliances. The equipment range will mainly cover kitchen and catering/cooking and laundry appliancesHours: 37 hour per week + over timeExperience and QualificationsThis is a Tier One position, applicants must hold relevant qualifications.Typical/Desirable qualification may include:Commercial Gas Qualifications CODNCO1 (Changeover commercial gas safety), ICPN1 (installation first fix of pipework in excess of 28mm), CIGA1 (commission, service, repair and breakdown of indirect fired commercial appliances) TPCP1A Tightness testing & direct purging of installation pipework not exceeding 1m in volume, 40 mbar pressure and 150mm diameter natural gas only TPCP1 Tightness testing & purging of installation pipework exceeding 1m in volume up to 16bar operating pressure (natural Gas) & 2 bar operating pressure LPG CORT1 Commission, service, repair and breakdown of natural gas overhead radiant tube heaters and radiant plaque heaters. CDGA1 Commission, service, repair and breakdown of direct fired natural gas commercial appliances.
