Job Description

VFX Artist£35,000 - £50,000LondonI have an incredible opportunity with an awesome, new indie games studio based in London. I am looking for a passionate Senior VFX Artist who is an expert at creating real-time visual effects with popular game engines (ideally Unity). The studio is made up of a diverse team of games industry veterans and passionate, young artists from around the world.The project is narrative driven with stunning cinematics to help the player immerse themselves within a realistic world whilst making their own decisions and outcomes. I am also interested in seeing VFX Artists from the TV and Film industry who have a passion for games.The RoleThe ideal candidate will be able to work independently and will be a good problem solver. Being a team player is also beneficial as you will be expected to work with the rest of the team and report to the creative lead. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced artist to put their own creative stamp on a high-profile project.Core Skills

  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ industry experience.
  • Expert knowledge of a popular game engine (ideally Unity).
  • Knowledge of Houdini is nice to have but not essential
  • A strong ability to problem solve on the job.
  • Ability to work autonomously and solve problems.
  • Strong eye for colour and real-world elements.
  • Friendly, hardworking, a team player and a good sense of humour.
  • A strong portfolio displaying high quality real-time visual effects within a game engine (ideally fire & destruction based).
  • Right to work in the UK is a must.
