GAMES (GAV) LECTURERLocation: Milton Keynes College - Multi-site Hours: Ad-hoc/VariableSalary: £24.00 per hourClosing Date for Applications: 30/08/2021IN SHORTHave you thought about a career in Further Education teachingWould you like to help developthe next generation in to their chosen careers Milton Keynes College Group are seeking innovative and passionate Games, Animation and VFX Teachers/Tutors to deliver the theoretical side of our Level 3 UAL creative digital media qualification to a diversegroup of learners, who are developing their abilities to draw, 3D model, create games, effects, story and more. This course teaches software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Blender, 3DSMax, Unity among others. We also introduce C# for those students who areinterested in programming.You should be confident in delivering research and analysis as well as encouraging students in best practices around project management. A background in programming and games development would be beneficial. You may be proficientin either Unity or Unreal and will be able to coach students through the process of developing their own games. You may also have a wider understanding of how games engines are being used in the film and TV industry and how these might be applied.A teachingqualification would be desirable, however those willing to work towards a teaching qualification who hold supporting subject specialism or industry experience would also be considered - we can provide the training to help you achieve your full potential.
