G4 Senior Cyber Operations Support Officer - London, Warrington, East Midlands, West Midlands or Bristol - £39,038 + £3,339 London weightingThe National Crime Agency (NCA) leads the UK’s fight to cut serious and organised crime, and the Threat Leadership Command, which comprises of a number of specific functions including the National Cyber Crime Unit (NCCU), Child Exploitation Online Protection team (CEOP), Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking (MSHT) and the Threat Management Team, is responsible for the national response to Serious and Organised Crime threats. Their role is to work with partners inside the NCA and externally the set the strategic direction and facilitate effective delivery of the response. One of their key objectives is to tackle Serious and Organised Crimes threats by maximising the benefit of new capability across the system, and this has attributed to the growth of the organisation, leading to a number of exciting opportunities in the organisation including the Senior Cyber Operations Support Officer within the NCCU.The National Cyber Crime Unit (NCCU) leads the UK’s fight against cybercrime and uses specialist capabilities and expertise to support law enforcement partners across the UK and coordinate the entire UK response to cybercrime. Ops Support is responsible for the provision of specialist cyber capability and advice to the Cyber Regional Organised Crime Unit (ROCU) network, NCA branches and the wider Law Enforcement community, as required. It is the primary vehicle for developing and maintaining operational relationships with Team Cyber UK.As a consequence, the Senior Cyber Operations Support Officer will be seen to provide specialist tactical and technical investigative advice to stakeholders investigating cyber-crime across the UK. Additional duties include;
