Job Description

Are you an energetic person with strong communication skills, both written and verbally Are you seeking an exciting position with the opportunity to build and maintain strong relationships Keen to join a growing Charity that offer an excellent hybrid workingpattern If so, look no further!Robertson Bell are honoured to be working with this growing charitable organisation as they go to market for a Fundraising Officer on a permanent basis. This position pays a vital role in business development and carrying out fundraising initiatives.The Fundraising Officer responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective donors and clients and ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Work closely with the Fundraising Manager to implement effective fundraising campaigns and projects.
  • Pinpoint and locate fundraising opportunities that enhance contributing the overall financial goal.
  • Meeting and exceeding fundraising targets.
  • Writing sales proposals and bids using persuasive writing skills.
  • Effectively convey the organisations mission, vision, and programs to potential donors.
  • Travel when needed to represent the company for events, meetings, or conferences.
With a flexible hybrid work pattern, coupled with an excellent benefits package, the head office is based in central London with an attendance of two days per week required in the office. This role would suit an individual who is eager to travel and meetwith prospective clients and who is passionate about business development.The successful candidate will have:
  • Ideally experience in fundraising or business development.
  • A proven track record of meeting targets.
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivation skills and an eagerness to meet with clients and build strong, lasting relationships.
  • Previous experience in bid writing would be a bonus!
