Job Description

SMC808 – Fund AccountantExcellent opportunity for a qualified Accountant with solid knowledge and experience of alternative Fund structuresto join a rapidly expanding financial organisation. The successful candidate will join an existing team, and will be responsible for facilitatingand delivering on migration of existing and new fund services clients and structures, across multiple fund services locations globally.Responsibilities include:

  • Working withinternal with colleagues to deliver ona varied portfolio of clients, for end-to-end migration and onboarding to in-house system.
  • Setting upfund structures in in-house system,for end-to-end accounting and administration(including fund configuration,accounting dataand investment records etc.).
  • Escalatingdata, documentation or procedural issues,as required.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of status to relevant Project Lead.
  • Ad-hoc responsibilities.
Skills & experience required:
  • ACCA Qualified (or equivalent) – Essential
  • Solid experience of Fund Accounting / Accounting withinFund services– Essential
  • Working knowledge of eFront – Essential
  • Strong organisation skills, able to prioritise workload and work to a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as using own initiative.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
