We are looking for a pro-active and friendly Nanny to join a busy family based in Mapesbury.The family currently has a Nanny, so this role will be working alongside the current Nanny to dedicate your time to the eldest child. The family has a baby boy who is currently 6 months old, as well as a daughter who is 3.5 years old. The current Nannys main focus is on nursery duties for the baby so the new Nanny will focus on the eldest childs learning and development.They are looking for a Nanny who has experience within the early years who will be able to create educational activities that will help supplement the subjects that the child is learning at nursery. She attends nursery every afternoon so the Nanny will have sole charge of her for the morning up until lunchtime. The Nanny will also be responsible for nursery drop off and pick up.The Nanny will also be expected to undertake light housekeeping duties whilst the little girl is at nursery.The light housekeeping duties include: Unloading the dishwasher, the family washing, folding and putting the clothes away, ensuring the childrens rooms are tidy as well as sterilizing the baby bottles, and working alongside the current Nanny to cook for the children.Due to Covid-19 Mum is currently working from home.It is key that the new Nanny is flexible to chip in and help the other Nanny when required, so experience with small babies would be preferable.The role will be Monday- Friday, 10 hours per day. It would also be a HUGE bonus if the Nanny would be willing to help out on Sundays too, but the family can be flexible with this.The baby boy is classed as vulnerable so it is ESSENTIAL for this role that the Nanny can walk, cycle or drive to work as he is incredibly high risk and the family does not want the Nanny commuting to work on public transport.The family home is based in Mapesbury- NW2. They can work out parking permits if needed.Please also be aware that Grandparents do come and stay at the family home for up to a month at a time.The salary for this role is £12 - £14 gross per hour. (£600-£700 gross PW)The family is flexible on the start date, but sooner rather than later would be preferable. Required skills
