Job Description

Full Stack Software Engineer - Leader in online media:

  • Remote first (client based in London).
  • circa £85,000 to £100,000 + excellent package.
    • Client and role for Full Stack Software Engineer - Leader in online media:Were currently helping a global, award winning, digital media organisation to hire a seasoned full-stack polyglot engineer to design, build and operate web and workflows solutions. The role is mainly backend focused but you will have to be comfortable on the front end side of things when required.Your focus will be group wide technology projects that will involve working across a number of brands and products, in a highly collaborative environment in which you will have a strong input and the opportunity to build experience and responsibilities across the business.Responsibilities for Full Stack Software Engineer - Leader in online media:
  • Apply the principles of software engineering to the design, development and testing of critical components that are part of their estate.
  • Collaborate with the product owners and development team to turn ideas and requirements into well considered solutions that work in the real world.
  • Work with DevOps to manage solutions from development through to deployment
  • Communicate on progress, risks and issues.
  • Roll up your sleeves and code along with your team.
    • Good experience with the following will be required:
  • Typescript, NodeJS, Express, NestJS, Angular, Bootstrap, CSS/SCCS.
  • NoSQL/DynamoDB, SQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL, Linux/UNIX.
  • Experience using AWS, with a serverless mindset.
  • Strong backend / API / workflow / systems design experience.
  • They are looking for someone who is also able to do front end web development if required, but their primary focus is backend.
    • Desirable experience for Full Stack Developer - Leader in online media:Any familiarity with Java, Scala/Play, iOS development, Android development, C# .NET, PHP, Jenkins, OpenID Connect / OAuth 2.0 would be a benefit. Required skills
