Job Description

Frontend Developer - London - £40k - £50kI am looking to speak with enthusiastic and hungry Creative Frontend Developers interested in working in the London area to work for an extremely established and growing company looking to hire ASAP for the right candidate.You must have a thirst for learning, not be daunted by the unknown and help drive the technical and development efforts for our clients. Ideally, you come from a multi-disciplined background in development and technology and you’re comfortable in varying technologies and frameworks.

  • You’re able to transform design concepts into seamless digital experiences using a user-centred approach and latest trends in tech
  • You genuinely love solving complex problems with straightforward solutions
  • You’re comfortable suggesting and implementing experimental digital solutions and curious to discover and play with new approaches
  • You have the ability to convey ideas with plain-speaking language to a diverse range of stakeholders
  • You’re a positive and proactive team player, sharing solutions and welcoming new challenges
  • You’re culturally perceptive and adaptable to the industry
    • Must have skills
  • Writing clean and concise HTML / CSS
  • A high level of experience with UI layouts, SASS, LESS, Bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system
  • Strong JavaScript skills and significant experience of debugging using JavaScript-based tools like Chrome Developer Console
  • Experience of PHP frameworks (e.g. WordPress, Symfony2)
  • A good understanding of PHP template engines like twig, smarty, liquid
  • Proficient, with working knowledge of jQuery
  • Fluent in Git flows
  • A good understanding of SEO principles, so that you can ensure that our applications adheres to such principles
  • Experience testing for browser compatibility and performance
  • Experience with Shopify
  • Awareness of the most up-to-date technologies and how to choose between them
  • The ability to test and validate work at every stage of development
    • This is a permanent position paying anywhere beteen £40k - £50k DOEFrontend Developer - London - £40k - £50k
