This business analyst role is with a leading hedge fund who are investing heavily in their quant and technology stack as part of their wider growth plan.The role will involve being focused on identifying areas of opportunity and then look bring those ideasto fruition by working with the quant team. This will include being responsible for the full lifecycle of project management tasksinvolving requirement gathering, analysis, testing and delivery.The fund is investing heavily into their quant and technology stack as they look to find additive and divergent alpha streams. This means there are plenty of exciting projects to work on immediately and the role has great visibility throughout the business.As a result, the successful candidate will be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and working in a dynamic environment. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of adapting their style to workwith a range of teams, from technology and quant through to experienced discretionary portfolio managers.They are looking for candidates who are currently working as a Business Analyst for a investment bank, asset manager or hedge fund. Candidates coming from a quant analyst or quant developer background will also be considered if they have the required projectmanagement skills. This experience should be allied with experience with booking trades and the valuations of fixed income and fixed income derivative products.Due to the sophisticated nature of the fund, those with a strong technical, academic backgroundwill be well suited to this role.Responsibilities
