Job Description

Are you looking for a new exciting opportunity working as Front end Test Automation Engineer, based in Paddington, LondonYou will take ownership of the QA - documenting, creating test cases, test closure reports, regression packages, automation tests (performance/E2E), monitoring pipelines etc. You will have previously worked in an End-to-End testing role within an agile environment, and have the ability to coach developers in order to improve unit tests and update existent automated tests.Duties:

  • Coaching developers to improve unit tests and update existent automated tests.
  • Working in an End-to-End testing role within an agile environment.
  • Create E2E Regression Packs and Performance Test Frameworks/Scripts following best practices (BDD, Test pyramid, POM).
  • Perform Exploratory Tests and create evidence/test cases when needed.
  • You will follow and proactively improve QA Standards, Templates and Documentations
  • You will be required to analyse test results.
  • A good understanding that QA shouldn’t be a bottleneck, taking any needed actions to unblock and sign off the tickets before the end of the sprint.
  • Take ownership of the QA and Release of projects, documenting, creating test cases, test closure reports, regression package, automation tests (performance/E2E), monitoring pipelines etc.
    • Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience coaching developers
  • You will have performed exploratory tests and created evidence/test cases
  • You will have worked in an end-to-end testing role in an agile environment, and you should have at least one project where you were involved in the testing of microservices.
  • Swift-Left QA mind-set
  • Good communication skills and always share knowledge within the team.
  • Ability to be auto sufficient and search for the solution first instead of waiting for people.

  • £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience
